I am so glad that you are here and welcome you with open arms! My upmost intension is to encourage, motivate and spread love to those who just need it. If you haven’t came across my homepage, I would like to take a second and introduce myself. I am wife, dog mom, and a daughter of the King! My husband and I recently celebrated our one year anniversary (woo-hoo!) And while reflecting over the time we dated, were engaged, and now married—there has been so much that we have had to learn about ourselves. With this included unintentionally stumbling on a need to pursue Christ with one another.
I gained the inspiration to start this blog from my precious mentor in combination with the series our pastor is going through at the church we attend. The scripture that we have followed is Matthew 7:24-27 where Jesus teaches building your foundation on the rock rather than the sand. This scripture really lit a fire underneath the both of us. We began to dive into the Lord’s intension for not only our marriage and close relationships, but also our purpose. To be transparent, my husband and I did not start our marriage (or even our dating season) planted in the word. We hadn’t quite grasped the concept of God’s will nor really understood what entering into a covenant meant for us. However, with repentance and grace, we have found SO much redemption while gaining an abundance of love and encouragement! Now, because of this, I want share what He has done for me and can do for you!
I just want to use this platform as sort-of an accountability for myself with the hopes that someone may stumble across it and find the kind of encouragement that we all need from time-to-time!
